Thelma L. Forrest funeral expenses

My grandmother, Thelma L. Forrest (Mangrum), passed away on Monday, September 28th 2020. She was and always will be greatly loved by her family and friends. There is nothing that can ever explain the loss of of such a beloved and beautiful mom, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend. She enjoyed life every moment and helped so many others. She was a Custodian for several years of her life. But made a huge impact at one special elementary school, pinewood elementary, where she not only did the job of three large men but made friendships and made kids laugh and gave them comfort. She loved everyone of those kids that stepped through that schools door as if they were her own. My granny was like no other, such a strong, happy, go getting precious soul. Her role being a Wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, friend and even a custodian was incredible...She leaves behind her loving husband (Terry), Two sons (Scott and Eric and his wife Melissa), 5 grandchildren (Kyle, Daniel, Erica, Jeremiah and Zach), and lastly her two great grandchildren (Delilah (1year old) and Greyson (8month old). Thelma fought a very long time with Dementia and other illness that came upon her during this time. Even though she got this heart wrecking disease she had never truly forgotten her family or her life as it was before..she fought and stayed strong for over three years...She made it to see her two great grandchildren at least once luckily which we will be forever grateful for. On behalf of our family and the most devastating and humble of circumstances, we have set up this GoFundMe campaign to ask for any help with donations whatsoever to be sure to help with funeral expenses and to remember and celebrate Themla’s life with the funds.
