Objective: Replace photography equipment lost during homelessness -- Camera Body and hopefully a couple lenses!

Reason: To again assist my family by providing more income, as well as improving my mental health.

About Us:
I am a disabled Army Veteran, wife of 15 years, mother of 3 boys and photographer since 2010, the year of my medical discharge. My husband, Tommy, and I homeschool our boys (ages 8, 10 and 12) and love every minute of it! Our oldest suffers from an anxiety disorder (OCD), so our switch to homeschooling has made a huge impact on his life and learning ability. Both Tommy and I attended Central Washington University--him for a double major in History and Anthropology and me for a BA in Actuarial Science, though I became very ill shortly after graduation in 2013.

I struggle with both physical and mental illnesses and find photography a weapon in my constant battle within: Complex PTSD, OCD, depression, anxiety, agoraphobia, dermatillomania, chronic pain including stomach ulcers, arthritis throughout entire body, joint and tendon maladies, severe low back and hip troubles, etc. My medical, treatment/surgical and therapeutic appointments feel like a full-time job by themselves! I honestly feel myself suffering more without my photography equipment; without my outlet I feel more lost!

Our Story: At the beginning of this year, my family and I found ourselves homeless with nowhere to turn. We ended up living in motels for 3 months while trying desperately to find a new place, and was eventually accepted into the University of Montana's  student housing, as long as Tommy is enrolled in 6 credits per semester. As part of this ordeal, we were forced to pawn/sell many of our belongings: game systems, electronics, my beloved camera and lenses (Canon 5D Mark III), etc.

I am a lifestyle  family and stock photographer for Getty Images, Shutterstock and more. We are still playing catch up from our motel stint and starting over in a new state, so I am begging for help to buy another camera!

I hate asking, loathe begging, but my income has come to a standstill without my photography equipment and I fear for our ability to pay for tuition and rent/food without it, let alone purchase another camera. My husband already finishing his second BA before grad school, which is why financial aid will not assist with tuition. If we cannot pay for his 6 credits, we will be removed from student housing, once again being homeless.

Any and all assistance is greatly appreciated, I simply do not know where else to turn!

I will end with some photos of my family! They are often my models and a large source of my stock photography, being featured all over the world. The two girls are my nieces, who also enjoy their photos taken! <3
