Happy Elders with the Gift of Joy campaign will give a gift to EVERY person living at the Jackson Memorial Long Term Care Center.

The Gift of Joy campaign will spread joy to those people who live in assisted living facilities that are alone and struggling this holiday season. They need our love and joy.

You can donate money today and we will purchase sweat pants, socks, t-shirts, blankets, talcum powder, small perfumes and cologne to donate. (a $ 10 donation will buy 1 sweatpant, 10 pairs of socks, or a warm blanket) These are personal items that they desperately needed.

If your donation is of $100 or more, we will issue you a tax deductable receipt and we will include your name or company’s name on the donation letter.

With your help fundraising $3,000 in the next 5 days we can help 172 elderly have some happy feet, warm hearts and big smiles. :)

Companies or Individuals can fund these specific items:

1. $200 donation to purchase a sound system with wheels . This is used every day at the residents' lounge for their recreation.

2. $500 donation to host an outing for 20 residents to attend dinner at a local restaurant. ($25 per resident includes meal and tip). Many residents do not have family members to take them outside of the facility and have not been to a restaurant in years. This outing would be a memorable and precious gift for 20 deserving residents.

3. $100 donation to purchase games, books and movies for resident's daily recreation.

We need your help!

On December 15 we will host a holiday party for the residents at 2pm at the Jackson Memorial Long Term Care Center were we will have all the gift items wrapped beautifully, we will bring snacks, music, holiday cards, and people to visit, sing, dance and be with them so that they will not only get a donation but will receive all of our LOVE this Holiday.

Joy is found in the small moments and smallest gifts. We get even more joy when we gift to others-that's what we want to do with GIFTS OF JOY!!
