Theft of tools and equipment from Camp 10 Ski Area
Camp 10 Ski Area needs your help! Please help a place that offers so much to the youth and local communities in the area. All of the ski area tools were stolen along with the engine from the groomer that groomers the slopes for people to enjoy. We need your help to prepare for the up coming ski season.

A bit of bad news. The ski area was broken into resulting in the loss of many tools and specialized equipment. Worst of all was the theft of a Ford 391 industrial truck engine and associated engine parts from our LMC2100 grooming machine. Quite a gut punch! Scads of other things were taken including a craftsman 16 inch chain saw, a craftsman 3 hp air compressor, a 65thousand BTU portable heater, a stick welder, an oxy-LP cutting torch, two torque wrenches, three full socket sets, a full set of open end wrenches up to 2inches, our set of 8 new cobra radios for lift op stations, many many other small tools, plus about $250 in just purchased new nuts/bolts for mounting our recently purchased new track belts. The thief had also staged quite a bit of stuff for a return trip including all of the timing system for our Jr Race Program. The presence of law enforcement and staff thwarted this additional attempt. The thief very carefully planned this out and was very familiar with engines. He did however make mistakes and the Lincoln County Sheriffs Department is conducting an extensive investigation and possible leads have been identified. Total uninsured losses are around $6000.
