The First Goal, Inc. aims to break the cycle of poverty through education, with soccer being the incentive to achieve it. The focus is not to create professional athletes but to create all-around better human beings; people that will have a positive impact in their families and consequently, society.
We have annual summer camps in National City, CA and Tijuana, Baja California. We currently have 7 operating soccer teams, ages 7 - 17 years old for boys and girls.
Without your generous donations we will not be able to sustain our program much longer. The donations will go direclty to:
-Game fees
-Paying our coaches
The First Goal was founded by my husband and I and we need all the help we can get. We are currently in the works to find a long-term sustainable solution for funding but until then we rely soley on donations.
