Help Rich & Anna Emig Rebuild

Hello. My name is Kristina Emig and I am asking for your help and support on behalf of my parents, Richard and Anna Emig. I grew up in Santa Rosa, Ca, and on the morning of October 9, 2017, my own parents were victims of the Tubbs Fire in Santa Rosa, Ca. My parents built a beautiful life and home together for my brother Michael and I, and were residents of their home for 27 years. After being woken up by family members who came to the house at 2:30am, my parents fled within minutes, and left with hardly anything in tow. Thankfully they reached safety, but found out hours later that everything they had built together was lost. Our family home was gone. I have had so many people reach out to me and ask how they may be able to help. Right now, this seems like the best way, as my parents have nothing. They need to rebuild and take care of themselves. I know that it can be hard for my parents to ask for help from others, which is why I have created this profile for them. I have shared with them all of the support, words of sympathy and offerings of help that have been shared with me so far, and my parents are extremely grateful and thankful. This is a tough time for our community, but anything that you can give to help my parents would be amazing. Although most things in our home can be replaced, it's our sentimental memories that we will never get back. Their world has been turned upside down and any piece of mind that we can give them will be appreciated forever. The funds that are raised will go directly to helping my parents purchase basic necessities that will help get them back on their feet (clothes, shoes, toiletries, and some furnishings for their rental home). My father, Richard, will have access to these funds and together, my parents will look to purchase what they need. I thank you in advance for your help. This means the world to my family and me.
