As most of you who are taking the time to read this already know, I am CRAZY about what I do. I have wanted nothing more than for The Brocade Blackbird to "soar" (pun intended) since the first second the idea even crept into my head as a mere possibility.
Lately, something has shifted and things are happening! I have been incredibly focused and working hard to make myself and "The Bird" better.
Late last year, I submitted an application video for acceptance into an intimate (30 attendees in total) conference called Paper Camp that will help me launch and refine my wholesale line of greeting cards as well as prepare me for my ULTIMATE goal of showing my collection at the National Stationery Show in NYC.
My video helped me receive a partial scholarship toward the Paper Camp tuition, which is absolutely thrilling! However, the remaining tuition, flight and hotel stay to attend the conference in California is why I am setting up this campaign and asking for your support.
The knowledge and networking opportunities I will take in at Paper Camp will fuel the success of my business and will not only help maintain the momentum I've been working hard to gain, but propel me forward.
Paper Camp will take place March 1 & 2 of this year, so I am hoping to reach my campaign goal by the end of January so I can make my final arrangements to attend.
