The Theater at Woodshill is using 2021 to revamp our web presence and make forays into more and better educational and community-oriented programming, much of which will be produced remotely, in line with the times. Please see below for details and please lend a hand!
Woodshill.org (Revamped!)—$3,000
In the spring of 2021, Woodshill plans to launch a totally revamped website , built by Moonpool . With this revamped web presence (see a mock-up of the new homepage above!), we will be able to provide up-to-date news, information for upcoming events, more seamless reservation and donation mechanisms, a variety of downloads, as well as a full history of our repertoire to date. This is a very important priority for us to help boost our image and therefore obtain more prestigious grants—your support is hugely appreciated!!
Will Power—$500
This is a top-secret project that we'll be unveiling this spring, but here's a hint: it involves a bunch of awesome high schoolers doing some of the most high octane Shakespeare speeches around.
The First English Actresses—$3,500
We're going to tell the story of how, when the theaters reopened following the Restoration of Charles II, four incredible English actresses got to do something that had never been done before on the English stage: they originated the Shakespearean roles that had been meant for women all along: Juliet, Ophelia, Lady Macbeth, and much more.
A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Coming in 2022)—$3,000
Our version of this classic play will mark our return to live stage productions, and is guaranteed to blow your hair back. Please help us jumpstart our fundraising! #HereWeGoMagic Stay tuned.
