The Stages: De-centered CONTEST
Donation protected
The And, Stage Company is a not-for-profit theatre company for all cis and trans women, and non-binary people who are comfortable in a space that centeres the experiences of women. Through our on-going series called The Stages, we bring to you the newest iteration of the series:
THE STAGES: DE-CENTERED
The Stages: De-centered is an online festival featuring Black and Indigenous artists based in the Toronto area. The series features three artists: Kelisha Daley, Theresa Cutknife, and Nailah Ramcharan-Gibbs, who share with you their creative work in its present stage of process.
Because of restrictions due to COVID-19, the performances will be shared through video on Facebook, Instagram, and Youtube. The festival will take place over the month of October, with a new release each Friday!
In place of tickets we are hosting a CONTEST to support the artists of The Stages: De-centered. With a donation to this fundraiser, you will be entered in a draw for the chance to win an art piece by Metis artist Tayler Schenkeveld, created specifically for this event. (see photos above) A donation of any amount will allow us and these artists the opportunity to continue this work!
The winner will be announced on Friday, October 30th, 2020.

We owe a huge thank you to our artists Kelisha Daley, Theresa Cutknife, Nailah Ramcharan-Gibb, and Tayler Schenkeveld. We also want to thank mentors Linette Doherty, Charlottle Gowdy, and Kanika Ambrose as well as editors Emily Bayrock, Angie Lawrence, and Sara Bulloch.
This event would not be possible without Creatress. Thank you, Creatress Team! @creatress.ca / www.creatress.ca
