The559Ride

Al has been an inspiration and an amazing friend to so many. For us, he was always pushing and challenging himself and convincing us that we could do the same. There is a poster on our wall that says "Your body is capable of some pretty amazing shit... Admire it! Challenge it!". Al is the living embodiment of this quote. His positive attitude and can-do spirit are two things that make Al such an amazing person.

Now Al inspires us again. Faced with a physical challenge no one is ready for, he continues to be "a beast" in the physical world and "The People's Champ" in spirit. We have decided to push our bodies to the limit as Al pushes his, and hopefully raise money for his new equipment and continued therapy. This poster in Al's workout space says it all!

Craig and I (Iain) will be riding a total of 559 kilometers non-stop in hopes of raising funds for Al. This will mean we will be on our bikes for about 20 hours! As this will be a long and difficult day we want to pick the weekend with the best weather. We will be riding on either June 12th, 19th, or 26th.
