The Wear Family

Friends...

Right before Labor Day weekend, Michelle entered the hospital to start treatment for Leukemia. After 28 days and the first round of chemo treatment, Michelle is back home for a couple weeks and is doing well.

During the first few weeks, friends of Zach and Michelle rallied to help around the house, shuttle and care for the boys, and provide support with prayer and visits. If you have been able to jump in somehow over the last month, you know the power of a community that gathers to bless someone in a way they are not expecting or are unable to do on their own.

Zach and Michelle have held close to God and to each other. There have been hard times and good times. You may be following Michelle's blog or their photos on social media. These guys are fighting for it in the midst of a battle. The current story they are living involves a five month treatment plan, with several months yet to go.

In addition to the health issues, their van broke down a couple of weeks ago. The initial estimate was $5000 for a new transfer case. When Zach got that news on top of everything else, he simply put the van on the back burner. There were other things he had to focus on.

As friends, can we knock this one out for them? Whether the cost comes in at $5k or more, can we join together and cover this repair and also set up the family for the rest of the year and into 2018?

Give as you are willing and able... Thanks for being a blessing.
