The Village Inn Restoration and Operating Funds

The Village Inn in Englishtown, New Jersey is a Historical Inn/Tavern Circa 1766 operated by the Battleground Historical Society. The building is open to the public for tours. Along with showcasing the Inn/Tavern there are displays on the local history of Englishtown and the surrounding area. The Battleground Historical Society is a non-profit and operates on donations and grants. All programs and tours are supported by our members who are all volunteers. Recently the Inn was struck by a vehicle and sustained substantial damage. We are hoping to complete the repairs and reopen to the public for tours as soon as possible. All funding will go to support the Inn with building repairs and the continuing operational expenses. Please visit our website at www.thevillegeinn.org.
