The Villa Diner Staff Lost Income Fundraiser

Donation protected
My wife and I own the Villa Diner.  We and our staff have been running the  Villa for over 15 years in Charlottesville, Virginia. We have worked hard to create not just a great family restaurant, but also a place for our community to gather, meet, and share time together.

As a result of the Corona virus, we have made the difficult decision to close our restaurant. Until we know that it is safe for everyone to return, we do not want to be part of the problem by encouraging our guests to come out and gather in groups that could be harmful to our whole community. We have a large number of senior citizen customers as well and we want to make sure they are safe during this challenging time.

Through no fault of their own, our dedicated, hardworking staff will not be able to earn an income during this crisis. We are hoping to raise money to help support them during this difficult time.  We have 13 full time employees and 4 part time. The goal is to raise $1,000 for each full timer and $500 for each part timer, for a total of $15,000. All funds raised will be given to our staff directly, with $0 funds going anywhere else, including Jennifer and me.

To get the fundraiser started, we have donated the first $2,500. Would you please consider a donation to help our wonderful employees?  Thank you very much. God bless you all.
