The Tuxedo 7 Event
Donation protected
In 2007 I (Wyatt Jackson) was thinking of a way to bring men-of-accomplishment together to celebrate them from a different perspective: one of honoring their sense of brotherhood and creativity. We made it happen. This intimate gathering was special for all who showed up in the corner of the Last Hurrah Bar in the Omni Parker House (photo included).
Now ten (10) years later, we have hosted several of these gatherings and the response is the same year-after-year: the event means something special to the men who are honored.
This 2018 gathering will continue the T7 tradition, plus we will roll out our mentoring program, THE ROYAL FELLOWSHIP. The young men who are coming up need to connect with men who are focused and reliable. The money we raise will go under the non-profit umbrella of Generation Excel (Bethel AME Church's Youth Outreach) to help structure the organization and hold getherings with the mentees. The money will also go to fund the January 27th event (rental of the space, music and food).
Thank you, thank you, thank you for your support, fellowship and most importantly, your faith in the idea of giving it forward.
Best,
Wyatt Jackson
