Van For The Strongest Family I Know

Donation protected
ANY donation would be beyond greatly appreciated, I would love to raise as much as we can ASAP for a family very dear to my heart to be able to have the van they need to take care of their son❤️
Here is their story-
This little boys name is Colby Mcleod-Dunn, he is a 17 year old from Edmonton, Alberta. He is a grade 12 student and he has cerebral palsy. He is unable to walk or talk and is fed by a tube in his stomach. but he is full of life and laughter and has never let any of that define his personality. Since being born Colby has never had it easy, from multiple major surgeries throughout his young life to struggling with many other health issues including digestive problems, seizures, and recently being diagnosed with cirrhosis of the liver from the multiple medications he is on daily. A smile has remained on his face through it all. His parents Kim Mcleod and Darrel Dunn are the strongest people I have ever met and never stop going. They have been through everything imaginable in these 17 years from complications with Colby, being up multiple times every single night with him, being sleep deprived and mentally exhausted, never getting a chance to relax and completely shut off to multiple losses within their family and having their own health suffer greatly because of it. Colby is growing getting bigger and heavier and it is getting extremely hard for Kim and Darrel to carry him around and keep up with a lot of his care needs. In recent years the van they relied on to get him and his wheelchair around has broken down. A family friend outfitted one with a ramp for them that was fully wheelchair accessible and made it much easier for Colby to get to school everyday and for them to go to their numerous appointments without breaking their backs. This week set out to get another surgery, and was released from hospital with a fairly good bill of health on October 1, 2018 when they finally left the hospital after an exhausting day they were unfortunately in a pretty severe collision. All are ok and went home just a bit shaken up. But now they are left with the extreme added stress of being without a vehicle,. They need one with special additions to get around with their son. This family is short of breaking down from stress and the thought of one more struggle to go through while they just released Colby from hospital after surgery is absolutely heartbreaking. This family has been through the worst and still awaiting the results of a liver biopsy, and a future uncertain with more possible surgeries. Let’s do everything we can for them. ❤️
