The Taylor Family Flood Fund

Kind. Gracious. Generous. These are just a few of the words being thrown about on social media to describe Mrs. Kim Taylor, a well loved small town school librarian. Miss Kim, as the kids call her, can usually be found on campus donning her perpetual smile. She brightens her book-filled room with that constant grin. Unfortunately, this cherished community member is in need of our help.

On Thursday, March 22nd The Taylor Family lost their home in a freak flash flood. Everything was washed away and/or destroyed. Their car. Their clothes. Their pictures. Their appliances. Their bedding. Their furniture. Their food. Their everything, gone in a flash. (I’m sure Miss Kim would argue that her family is safe & healthy AND that is EVERYTHING! And of course she’d be right) This crazy act of nature has left the hardworking Taylor’s without a home for their family. They cannot wait in limbo as the insurance companies and state take their time to determine if any help will be given.

The mamas whose children are nurtured Monday through Friday by this kindhearted woman, would like to help give this giver and her family what they so desperately need: hope... and a little financial assistance to get them moving in the right direction.
