Summer Camp 4 Refugee Kids

Donation protected
Amman, a city that has been known for being the cultural, political and economic center of Jordan. When we hear about this beautiful area of the world today, rather than thinking about the rich culture and history that this place carries, we are swamped with images and stories shaped by the worst refugee crisis since WWII.
Because we believe that love takes action, we have put together a team to go stand side by side with our neighbors in the Middle East. Together with a local organization (Al-ashrafieh Nazarene Church), we will organize and support an annual two week summer camp for over 1,000 kids of all ages. Wether kids from the local community or kids who have been forced to flee their homes from surrounding countries, we want to remind all of us that we belong to each other.

Who are we: My name is Eric Smith from Easley, SC and I am leading a team of 15 young people to organize and support this incredible kids camp. I am a project manager and pastor and currently serve at Church in Action in Frankfurt, Germany.

Al-ashrafieh Nazarene Church is a partner church of our whom we have known for many years. As the amount of people in need in their area has risen, we wanted to do something to take action.

Specific things we are rasing funds for include the following: (All funds will be sent directly. Our team will be personally making sure that absolutely 100% of all funds are delivered and used properly as stated.)

- $6,500 - Food for 1000 Syrian & Iraqi kids during       summer camp.

costs of all meals during this camp.)
