The storms almost washed us away
Donation protected
Hi all,
Its me T.
The girl who NEVER asks for help, and now here we are.
The January storms seemed too much for my 80 year old kitchen. I haven't said much because I tried to remedy this nightmare on my own. Our dry storage flooded and the ceilings were a waterfall. We lost palates of sugars: brown, organic and conventional, spices, pectin , cardboard for packing, herbs, dried flowers and boxes glass was stored ruined and mold entered the scenerio soon after. After securing and isolating the room while the storms raged and repair on hold due to strength of storms.
FEMA no help as we are not a big company, insurance would double or we would get dropped or ACT OF GOD clause nonsense.
So here we are a small company trying our best to fight the battle of FOOD WASTE REDUCTION with margins already razor thin as cost of goods have tripled in last 24 months.
I have a proposal if you can help us get back on our feet for a season coming that farmers will need us more than ever.
I want to give back as well for the donations you could extend.
