The Stewards Foundation Youth Rowing needs your help. A recent series of theft has struck our team.
Floating docks were stolen from our Palm River location. This facility is used for revenue purposes with visiting teams occupying the waterside space to train. This area is also used with our community programs, including rowing and team building for inner city children.
Our everyday training cite at Harney Park (US 301) was also burglarized. Our hospitality trailer with everything from grills and water coolers to tents, tarps and cooking utensils was stolen. This trailer goes with us to regattas and serves as home base when we feed the athletes. The boathouse was also broken into, resulting in the theft of 3 boat engines used on our coach boats and numerous tools used daily.
Any donation would be appreciated as we have three upcoming regattas in the next few weeks.
