This is a community service FREE to the public and needs your support to complete its funding for its Premiere January 18,19, 2020. The time is so close and funding is still needed to pay personnel and expenses not covered by giving a free service to the community.  This play tells the historical origins of Rock n Roll and helps to debunk the stereotypes to erase the racial divide This is why this is so important to present and with your help we can change the attitude of society. THE SOUL OF ROCK N ROLL is FREE to the public as a community service.  It has reached another plateau.   Now that I have secured the support of the Clark County Library to present the play, I need to raise the additional money for the expenses for the play. It premiers JANUARY 18, 2020 at 7:00PM and JANUARY 19, 2020 at 2:00OM at the Clark County Library, 1401 East Flamingo Road in Las Vegas.  I’ve come this far to contribute a service to the public and humanity and now I need your help to do the rest.  It will help me reach my dream of uplifting the human spirit and contributing to society.

I am so excited because NOW I have a chance to make a great impact impact with my Musical, THE SOUL OF ROCK N ROLL.  I am Kristy Love Brooks. I am a humanitarian and an activist striving to bring about political and social change thru my music and inspirational teaching. MY MUSICAL PLAY can be a catalyst for peace and for unifying the races today. Historical truths help to combat racism and stereotypes and help us to value our fellowman.  Drama and Music are powerful instruments for change.

Your donation can help me pay the rather large expenses for a cast of 20 actors and production set.  I’ve been going thru a really tough time the last 5 years. My funds were exhausted when I fell off the stage, had three major surgeries, and I had a family emergency that wiped out my bank account.  But I am determined not to let that stop me.  I want to use the power of my voice and words to bring about the changes that we so desperately need today.  The Library gave me my first step by partnering with me and donating the theater and staff and now I am ready to finally achieve my dream and see the play come to fruition.  I am so close. That’s why I need your help..

The play is cleverly constructed so that the characters in the play unveil the history of the origins of Rock Music rooted in Gospel and the Blues. This is achieved thru the plot of the story in which the lead character in the play struggles to find success.. It brings you Soul to Soul with the music and you fall in love with the lead character who is relentless in reaching for her Dreams despite the obstacles.
