The Shift Presence Conference

Greetings.

My name is Maka Taylor. I am professional consultant who specializes in economic research and development.

During the spring of 2022, I will facilitate a long-time dream of mine—and countless others. I am asking for your assistance to manifest this dream.

For many women—and single, black women in particular—few are being taught how to create, transform, revise and lead as it pertains to economic development, race, the upbringing of their children, and more.

America continues to experience an inequitable shift in the Critical Race Theory. As the result, life is experienced devoid of realizing tangible goals, dreams, and plans, because the route, education, and tools needed to achieve them are not apparent—or in some cases, not available for all. I am on a journey to change this narrative and offer solutions designed to strengthen the family as a whole.

That’s why I developed the conference series, “Shift Presence.” It is scheduled for the spring, 2022 conference will be held in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. The exact date and venue to be announced.

I have some funds allocated for the conference. I am using this GoFundMe campaign to help with the cost of securing conference speakers such as Kevin Samuels and Iyanla Vanzant. The guests deserve the best.
