The Shields’ Rebuild After Massive Tornado

Tonight, a half-mile wide tornado plowed through Indian Lake, Ohio and right over top of my sisters and triplet nieces.

The house is completely gone. It was picked up by this F3 tornado and taken. Not a wall left standing, and the floor is moved 8ft off of the foundation. Brooke and Dani laid on top of the triplets in a bathroom, and somehow were left.

Everybody seems to be ok. There are some wicked bruises, scrapes, and bumps, and the girls will be traumatized for their entire lives, but they survived.

Their home is gone. They lost *everything* they own. If you have $5 to help them with a bite to eat or a pair of socks, it would be super appreciated.

UPDATE: Both dogs are accounted for, but we’re still searching for Mochi and BabyCat. The girls are HEARTBROKEN, but we promised to keep searching.

There is great power in love and unity, and I think that we can tap into community to support Brooke, Dani, and the girls as they work to heal and rebuild!
