The Shibonis Family

Our beautiful, vivacious Milda Shibonis was killed in a plane crash on July 25, 2020. Her daughter, Veda, survived the crash in what can only be called a miracle.

Milda was an incredible family law and personal injury attorney. She made an instant impression on colleagues and lifelong friends at every court appearance, mediation, and phone call. Her adventurous and resilient spirit gave her the kind of stories that no one can ever forget--and there were so many stories.
So many people have reached out wanting to help in some way so this fund is intended to give everyone that opportunity. As you can imagine, there are so many unexpected expenses that come with such tragedy.
I worked together with Milda at two firms over seven years and attended law school with her. In that time, I was introduced to and grew to love both Milda, her daughter, and Milda's entire family.
The funds will be first used to cover the costs associated with the funeral home, celebration of life, burial, and the monument/grave marker. If any funds remain, those will go towards any out of pocket expenses from the hospital, emergency services, and other direct costs to the family for Veda and Milda's care from the accident. If any additional funds remain, they will be placed in a trust, administered by trusted family members, for the direct benefit of Veda.
NOTE: The family, specifically Veda's aunt, is the direct beneficiary of the funds to ensure the funds are used for these purposes only.
