Hey! My name is Scout Adams, I am 14 years old and this is me with my cat called Cake. I have been extremely lucky and been given an opportunity to study ballet during the Summer holidays 2018 at the Dutch National Ballet School in Amsterdam. I currently attend lessons three evenings a week at the brilliant Rox School of Dance in Brighton & Hove. I also travel every weekend to London to The London School of Contemporary Dance @ The Place to take part in their Centre of Advanced Training Scheme, twice a month I study ballet with Ballet Boost Assosiates at Rambert School and I attend Brighton Medical School every other month learn about my other passion to study medicine. As well as all that I am appearing in the musical production of This Boy Tom directed by Natalie Sexton at this years Brighton Fringe Festival. I would love to study dance full time once I have passed my GCSE’s and then find a way to combine studying higher education and dance.
Being able to experience traveling to Amsterdam will be exciting and scary, but I would love to learn from as many dance companies, learn and improve on techniques, study with different tutors & choreographers and to meet as many awesome new people as I can. This would be an amazing experience and as a result it will teach me huge skills which I can use for the rest of my life wherever my path takes me. So I am kindly asking for your help. Please help me raise the funds to support me continue and expand my journey and education in dance.
