Support for the Saplio Family

Our dear friend Kevin passed away unexpectedly this Sunday August 28th. This GoFundMe is a way to help the family initially with funeral arrangements but also to support

Kristin, Tyler, and Ryan in the months ahead as they figure out what life will be like without him.

Thank you for the outpouring of offers to help; there will be so many ways to support them over time. Kevin was the person so many of us went to or received help from without asking. He was there for the boys and Kristin in their every need. He took on a tough job and extra hours to make sure he’d be with the family at important times, always arriving home for big and small events.

He was a devoted Scout Leader in Pack 15 and then Troop 444, sharing his knowledge and love for his boys and scout family in all he taught us. Kevin made people feel at ease and important, always listening and offering advice and assistance with his smile and great sense of humor. He was a role model for his boys, and example to all of us as parents, and the type of spouse that Kristin loved to talk about when sharing the wonderful things they did together.

As a community of friends who’ve been touched by Kevin’s selflessness, we hope we can support his family with the love, devotion, and help he shared with all of us.
