The Road to the US Dressage Finals

On the Road to Nationals!
Hello to all my friends and colleagues. I have very exciting news to share. Rupert Angus (2012 Rotspon x Davignon bred by my mother, Joan Lavallee) and I won the Region 8 Reserve titles in Third Level Open and Second Level MFS Open. Our scores were over 70% in both championship classes. Let me also mention, our LOWest score all season in the Freestyle was a 73.3%. We had an individual judge score as high as 81%! Our placings at these Regional Championships earned us an invitation to compete at the US Dressage Finals in Kentucky, November 8-11, 2018.
An event of this magnitude is horrendously time consuming and expensive. Not only is there a direct financial impact from lost wages during travel and competition, but the added expense is staggering. Stabling alone for this show is $395! Then there's shipping fees, layover costs and lodging. What about the vet, farrier and coaching? Good gravy! It's overwhelming.
Needless to say, I can't do this without some help. Would you like to share a piece of our remarkable journey? Please understand, this is only a tiny piece. Angus is a phenomenal horse and I am fully prepared to develop this horse into the brilliant partner I know he will be. This is a horse with a BRILLIANT future, and it builds from here.
$5 is 14 miles closer to KY.
$45 is a health certificate.
$110 is a class fee
Anything shared helps get us to KY.
I will continue to post updates, videos and pictures as we prepare for these National Finals. Join us and share our journey to The US Dressage Finals and beyond.
