The Road to Recovery Documentary

A feature documentary produced by myself (alex carey films) and Iowa County Substance Misuse Prevention Committee on little funds with nothing left to promote the film but an enormous opportunity to change lives, judgements and viewpoints.  We know it's great and now we want to push it into schools, medical facilities and hopefully police officer training facilities.  We need funds to promote the film with our first attempt being the summer parades with an awesome float, handing out materials such as magnets with hotlines and other resources. 

We've received such incredible feedback from viewers and schools that have already shown the film and we know the value of having our interviewees at the showings in person to answer questions afterward is HUGE and POWERFUL!  We'd love to be able to compensate them for their time and efforts, though they've offered their time voluntarily, since they'll will be asking to be excused from their daily jobs and lives to attend these showings. 

Any extra funds will be put into an account for the committee to use as they see fit in efforts to promote the film and the message, helping whoever and however they can.  It's all non-profit and an incredible group of people.
