The Pilling Family

Hunter Pilling has recently been diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor on his brain stem. He is being referred to an oncologist and a neurologist for chemo and radiation in Athens, as well as being referred to a team at Emory in Atlanta. He is going to have a long, expensive road ahead of him. Hunter, his wife Noelle, and their son Kaston have been part of our racing and fishing community for a long time. Hunter and his family race at the local dirt track, and if any of you own a boat and take it to N & C Marine for service, Hunter is the one that works on it for you. My family personally met Hunter a few years ago when we purchased a boat, and since then he has become a friend to us. He is always willing to help out and he never asks for anything in return. We will never understand why things happen or make sense out of something that seems so incredibly unfair; all we can do is help out as much as possible to try and make the situation just a little bit easier.
