Peter Abatiello Memorial Service Fund

Donation protected
Peter John Abatiello, retired teacher and coach at West Orange High School, Winter Garden, Florida (WOHS), passed away suddenly and shockingly on June 19, 2022.

His death has sent reverberating waves of grief through his Family, and not just throughout the school itself but amongst the hearts of the tens of thousands of alumni, athletes, parents, and the greater Western Orange County community as a whole.

We need to raise a significant amount of money very quickly to cover the cost of a Memorial Service that appropriately honors and respects Pete and his Family first and foremost.

Every penny that you donate to the Peter Abatiello Memorial Service Fund will go to these expenses EXCLUSIVELY.

Please consider contributing, and sharing this page with others, so that we can raise the funds to proceed with planning such a historical event within the history of education in Orange County, Florida - the most proper send-off we can provide to the man who changed the lives of uncountable teenagers in his four decades of teaching.

It has been said that the sign of true leadership can be witnessed upon the absence of a team's leader.  Mr. Abatiello empowered thousands of youth in his far too short lifetime.  In his absence and on his behalf, we implore all West Orange Warriors to ensure that his legacy will be honored forever through these acts of service.

Attached please find for your information, a memorandum dated 06/25/22 which provides an itemization of the management of the Peter Abatiello Memorial Service Fund, which is being administered through the Warriors4Warriors Foundation, Inc.

We appreciate you and your shared affection for our beloved teacher and coach.
