My name is Randy Pallot and I am writing this on behalf of my Sister Crystal Pallot Groo and her Husband David Groo.
On October 4, 2018, our family was violently torn apart, my 19 year old niece was taken from us way to soon by her boyfriend.
Aspen Elizabeth Pallot was the center of their universe, their only child. She was kind, thoughtful, funny, and just beginning to blossom into an independant and strong young woman. She was a free spirit who loved nature, and especially the trees - the ones by the water.
He stole her light and beauty from the world.
The man is in custody and up on charges, but the investigation is ongoing and It will be for a long time. This means my sister and her husband will be revictimized over and over again, now and when this comes to trial and beyond. They have a long long road to recovery ahead, and the costs for final arrangements and likely months of missed work will be crippling.
It is my hope that as their friends, family, and community we can come together and at the very least help ease the financial suffering, if not the grief and agony they wake up to every single day. I have set a goal amount in which I feel might help with these times of trouble, although any amount would help. Please find it in your hearts to hear our story and understand that this was very sudden and unexpected, and preparing for a tragedy like this can never be foreseen.
All donations will be deposited directly to my Sisters account and will be used to cover the costs for the financial suffering for their family due to this tragedy.
