Funding the Morning Tree Album!

Hello everyone!
Our names are Consuelo Nerea Breschi, Eoghan O'Shaughnessy and Matteo Podda, or collectively we are the Morning Tree.
After meeting at the San Benedetto in Alpe Folkfest, quite a magical place where strong musical friendships begin, the three of us got together in 2011 with the intention of arranging and playing a few traditional songs.
With each one of us being tied to our own musical root, it wasn't long before we saw that we were sparking off new ideas in the others.
Now after two years of lunch breaks, dinner breaks, coffee breaks and mosquito breaks, a collection of twelve tracks have survived it all and grown into their own distinct sound, which blends the old traditional songs and airs with sounds and ideas from the blues and jazz, without interfering with the songs own unique feeling.
We have enjoyed every part of the process of making this album, from the earliest days of sitting around the kitchen table thinking about it to the last weekends spent recording and we hope that in listening to these tracks you'll share our enjoyment and love of the music!
Having reached this point we're now asking you for your vital assistance: collaborate with us on this funding platform to pay the final costs of production. Salve a tutti,
siamo Consuelo Nerea Breschi, Eoghan O'Shaughnessy e Matteo Podda, insieme The Morning Tree.
Dopo esserci incontrati al San Benedetto in Alpe Folkfest, luogo magico, fonte di forti legami musicali, cominciammo a vederci nel 2011 con l'intenzione di arrangiare e suonare canzoni tradizionali.
Ci accorgemmo presto dai nostri incontri che ognuno di noi, essendo legato ad una sua propria, differente radice musicale, accendeva scintille di nuove idee nell'altro.
Ora, dopo due anni di pause pranzo, pause cena, pause caffè e pause zanzare, quelle scintille sopravvissute hanno dato vita ad una raccolta di dodici tracce, e sono maturate in un loro specifico suono, in cui canzoni ed arie tradizionali si sono fuse con elementi blues e jazz senza che la loro natura ne sia risultata stravolta.
Per noi è stato prezioso ogni momento del processo di realizzazione di quest'album, dai primi giorni seduti attorno al tavolo di cucina agli ultimi fine settimana passati registrando, e speriamo che ascoltando questi brani ritroverete il nostro stesso entusiasmo.
