Hello! We're setting up a GoFundMe to support James and Shera as they navigate what has been a couple of months of a diabetic nightmare. After weeks of a foot infection not healing properly due to his Type 2 diabetes, James was hospitalized and underwent multiple life-saving surgeries including partial amputations over the course of several days and is expected to be off his feet and unable to return to work for at least several months.

James and Shera met at work in the most magical place in the world and have the kind of love that has made them inseparable since the very beginning. Both are hard-working, compassionate, and kind, and take care of the people around them before addressing their own needs. Despite months of trying to make ends meet without James' lost income, the delays in temporary disability support kicking in has it down to the wire for them to be able to securely maintain their home where James is still recovering, and their transportation to his ongoing medical appointments. Shera has been a rock star in handling various aspects of James' recovery, meal planning to best support his condition and healing, all the appointments, and still trying to supplement their income with the small business they run from home.

Your donations will help them catch up on the necessities and still be able to put food on the table. We're looking to give this family some space to breathe while the bureaucratic red tape slows down even further over the Thanksgiving weekend and holiday season.
