Mark, Karen and their children Samantha and Matthew are a family that have helped everyone they have met in one way or another. Now a family that has given so much to help the people around them need help that they will never ask for..

Starting in 2016 when Karen had to go under the knife for major heart surgery. Once being released from hospital she fell ill with pneumonia that ended up causing fluid around her heart which had Karen taken back into hospital. After a scary and long road to recovery. Her health got better; life looked as if it was turning around with the news that she and mark would be grandparents.

16 weeks into Samantha’s pregnancy she was told progressing with the pregnancy could endanger her life and was given a 1 in 10 chance of dying. After the family had the heartbreak of Samantha’s still born at 37weeks seven years earlier. They were not given up. Samantha was fighting for this baby. Two Hours before her C-Section her aorta spilt in two with a 50/50 chance of surving this she had an emergency delivery. Finally after a week Samantha is able to meet her perfect miracle. Still awaiting major surgery Samantha and baby went home taking it day at time.

While waiting for Samantha surgery. Mark gets rushed to hospital after splitting his leg open. Mark recovers as Samantha goes into surgery. While under the knife Karen gets the news her only brother has passed away.

Already financially, mentally and physically pushed to their limits. The night before the funeral Mark and Karen receive the phone call No parents ever wants to get. (your son has been rushed to hospital after a cardiac arrest. being clinical dead for 15 mins, he is now on life support.) After the heartbreak of hearing the news Karen still had to go bury her brother and brake the news to her daughter who was at a risky point to have heartbreaking news. 

This family has had more heartbreak then most should have to live through.

Matthew is still today in hospital with a long road ahead. he is awake and off life support. There is a long road ahead of this family. As at this point Matthew has very bad brain damage and is going to need his family to look after him fulltime.  There will be rehabilitation as at this moment Matthew will need fulltime care.

Please help this family. The stress of the hospital bills funeral cost, And now Matthews rehabilitation. Let’s help this family give them some help as they would do for anyone who needed.
