The mccann’s thanks to wythenshawe hospitals ICU

We want to say thanks to the amazing wythenshawe hospitals ICU. We will forever be grateful to each and every one of the staff there. We want to raise money that is going to go direct to them, for something they all want. 

As you all know back in November my dad (Gary mccann, Gary the gasman) was rushed to wythenshawe hospital with corona. After 2 days on the covid ward we was told he would be moved to ICU, he spent 6 weeks in intensive care where in his word they were the most caring / amazing team that never left his side.

They were there for dad while none of us could be. Keeping him going, keeping him comfortable, constantly by his side, holding his hand, reassuring him and it’s down to them we got dad home safe.

They work around the clock, never giving up and never stopping and that was before corona. Now they are even busier but never let that show. Nothing was to much even though we were on the phone every day. 
We’ve delivered chocolates and pamper packs but we really want to say thanks by giving them a donation that they can use.

So now Andy has got his place in the london marathon 2021 he’s going to run it just for them. That’s running 26.2 long miles around london on 3rd oct 2021(probably in the rain lol) . Currently having physio for a sore knee but has said he will get round in a decent time for them. 

I know you are all as eternally grateful to the amazing staff for looking after not just dad but for the tireless work they do every day and for getting dad home to us all as much as we are so please donate so we can show them just how thankful we are the smallest donation will make a difference.
