Instinctus Intuitum X - Lunattack's studio album

Hi, I am "Lunattack" - singer, songwriter, producer and collaborating artist and this is my Gofundme campaign to produce and release my new album INSTINCTUS INTUITUM X.

Instinctus Intuitum X, which I expect to release in February 2024 with Pussy Empire Recordings (Germany) as label, is about 10 songs (letter X) about instinct and intuition. These will be split into 2 thematic sessions.

Session 1 (Intuition) will be recorded in Toulouse at NVB Studios by producer Lone Kent (https://artmelodies.fr/lone-kent) and musically goes in the direction of Electro (H)Art Rock.

Session 2 (Instinct) is made in Real World Studios (UK). Their sound goes in the direction of indie ambient and tribal. In keeping with the musical and lyrical concept.

The production of the session 2 (Instinct) has already started with my songs "The Lost Tail" and "Lumina" produced in the Producer Camp of Peter Gabriel´s Real World Studios. The music videos are the kick-off for this crowdfunding supporting me/us female producers and our team. They also show the style sonically and visually that will be seen in this session. The album will be released as a split 12" vinyl so that each side can depict a session. The visual concept will also follow this thematic split.

With your collaboration you would be helping me to produce 3 songs in Real World Studios which in turn would finish the production of the session 2 of my album (with this GoFundMe I will finance just a part of this production), as well as the recording of 3 music (singles) videos and a concert release in Hamburg.

HISTORY

Instinctus Intuitum X is thematically the continuation of my music video THE LOST TAIL, in collaboration with the English musician and composer (†) Jacqueline La.

This was the beginning of my project, which was funded by the Hamburg Music Council via a scholarship for future music and supported by a crowdfunding for female producers (still far too rare). As a result, the single could be produced in the legendary producer camp of Peter Gabriel’s Real World Studio (2021) with the support of all the stunning musicians, mentors and mixing and mastering professionals. A year later, and unfortunately after Jacqueline's death, I followed up with a second song, LUMINA, in collaboration with DARK BLONDE (singer and songwriter from Hamburg) again co-produced at the Real World Studios.

The themes that will be continued in the project are: loss of connection to one's own roots, instincts and intuition, to a naturalness that naturally sees itself as a small but crucial part in the big whole of this world. In the new songs and music video work "Instinctus Intuitum X" I go one step further. It is about how much intuitive power and instinctive sense is still in us. We are undoubtedly facing massive problems that threaten our (co)life on this planet and - believe it or not - we are actually still well equipped to change this.

With our genre-spanning music performances I open spaces in which connectedness is not only thematized on all levels, but also triggered and allowed. The mixture of driving prog rock and trance-like ambient sound, in which my lucid lyrics are embedded, opens several "doors of perception", through which it is not only fun to step, but possibly also brings long forgotten dreams to life.

To give you an idea of the production costs, here is a brief explanation of how I am working:

The financing plan for the production and release of INSTINCTUS INTUITUM X is divided into 4 plans with a total amount of 26.200 € (See all the details below)

Plan 1 - Music Production - Session 2 (Real World Studios): 11.400 €

Produce 3 songs to include on the album through the Producer Camp residential program at Real World Studios (UK) for two artists (Lunattack and a guest collaborating artist). The residencies last 3 intensive days of production valued at 1.900 € (per song) and per resident artist.

Total price for the production of 3 songs + 2 resident artists: 11.400 €

Plan 2 - Music Videos Production: 4.500€

Produce 3 music videos for the 3 singles/songs including:

Filming, Makeup, Costume: 750 €

Post-production: 750€

Total: 1.500 € per music video

Plan 3 - Graphic Design: 500 €

Artwork for Album release + Booklet: 400 €

Graphic Design for Social Media: 100 €

Plan 4 - Album Release: 9.800 €

Rental cinema or space with 4K video projector: 2.000 €

Sound Engineer: 400 €

VJ: 400 €

Rent Sound System and Lighting (Technic for Online Event included): 2.000 €

Band: 500 € (x 3 musicians, including rehearsal): 1.500 €

Make Up Artist: 400 €

Travel cost for the Band and Producer: 1.600 €

Professional Live Stream - Video Team: 1.500 €

Even though the costs are high, each contribution contributes a lot. My album is already in progress, and we have a lot of perseverance and desire to achieve it.
