The life struggle of Jasmin Zubčević from Tuzla

Hello, my name is Asja Tinjić. I come from Tuzla, Bosnia and Herzegovina; the same town Jasmin comes from. This fundraising is from him, who has been struggling since 2014.

Jasmin Zubčević from Tuzla has been fighting for his recovery for more than eight years now. He was diagnosed in 2013th with a rare Huntington's disease, spasms and death of nerve cells, which can not be treated in his home country; thus Jasmin must travel to Slovenia for regular treatments.

So far, Jasmin has gone to Slovenia several times, and these operations provided him with the possibility of life. In the past years, funds were collected on several occasions for this man with a cheerful and positive spirit to go to Slovenia for an operation. Luckily his family, friends, and good people of Bosnia and Herzegovina, always managed to gather funds for him. According to the local website Tuzlanski.ba, the fundraising for Jasmin was organized at least 10 times over the years; and there are many other local attempts that were not recorded by the media.

However, sometimes even the strongest wish to help someone can be diminished by the pure lack of resources; Bosnia and Herzegovina is, unfortunately, an economically and politically very unstable country as well as the fact that Jasmin's condition requires constant medical care, for which, over time, people simply lost strength. Considering that Jasmin's situation is getting worse, making it difficult for him to swallow and move, his family is again asking for the help of good people. They state that time is running out, and that the responses to the appeals they published earlier were weak.

I decided to try to search for help for Jamin outside of Bosnia, thus I am writing this post, with the hope that it will reach more people who are willing to contribute to this hard fight Jasmin has been fighting for eight heavy years.
