Liam Vanjoske Emergency Fund

During the week of May 24th, almost 3 year old Liam was not feeling well. After a trip to Urgent Care, the doctor diagnosed him with an ear infection. He continued to get worse, and a trip to the ER the next day showed a cut on his foot was infected. Then, on Wednesday the 27th, he was taken to Children's Hospital. He developed blisters on his legs, mouth, knee along with swelling. He couldn't sleep and wasn't walking.
After a number of blood draws and tests, it was revealed that Liam has MRSA. This is an infection that has taken over his body leaving major fluid build-ups in his joints. He had a successful surgery to remove the fluid, but has been intubated and sedated in order to help him. He has been receiving plasma treatments and antibiotics, but has an extremely long road ahead of him. A feeding tube was also put in place. Doctors are unsure how this will have a lasting impact on him but know he will have a lot of PT to relearn everything.
Alex and Shannon have been spending their time down at the hospital and with Covid-19 going on the, the Ronald McDonald House is not available to them for staying over. We are looking to help them with medical costs, travel expenses, and meal expenses during this time as we don't know how long they will be down there with Liam, and what tests, treatments, and surgeries will be needed.
Alex and Shannon want people to know that any funds raised that are not used for those things stated, will then be donated to the Children's Hospital as a way to give back for what they have received from them. They have been very appreciative to the doctors, nurses, and staff at Children's Hospital during this uncertain time.
Thanks to everyone for your help and if you have other ways you would like to help support, please feel free to reach out.
