It's undeniable, my dad made an unforgettable imprint on the lives of so many people. With his passing, I've been approached by many offering assistance with his services and I'm so humbled by all the support. Truthfully, I want is for his memory to live on and to continue to have an impact and make a difference in this world.
That's why I'm starting the Jack Morenberg Foundation.
Although 90% of the time my dad was a hard ass, giving everyone his two cents, and not apologizing for it, he had an incredibly soft heart. When it came to kids I know he would move mountains to help any child in need.
I want to use this foundation to offer yearly $500 scholarships, in his name, to law enforcement children or teenagers volunteering for police agencies in the Inland Empire. The individual who receives this scholarship should show integrity, determination and tenacity in pursuit of higher education or military/law enforcement service.
This gofundme will help me get this non profit off the ground, with non profit registration fees and initial fundraising costs. Soon There will be coins made and t-shirts with his logo above. Also you can expect to hear about a Jack Morenberg Foundation motorcycle run, and 5k/10k's. My goal is to have this come together within the next 6 months in order to provide this opportunity to children next school year.
