The Invitational for Shriners

Hello Friends, 

When I was in the 8th grade, one of my best friends, Ryan McDonald, was severely burned while playing with flamables by a bonfire. He suffered 3rd degree burns across his arms and chest, but luckily I was there to take him to the ground and roll him out. He was only in for a little under a week. Some may call me a hero, but most just call me Charlie. 

The hospital he was in was Shriners Hospital for Children; one of the world's best hospitals to specialize in severe burn care. Many children who go through this hospital suffer severe burns across their entire body and can spend months in at a time. Fortunatley they are cared for by the best nurses and doctors around.

Since then, my friends and I have made it a point to raise money for this hospital, as we did while we were in middleschool, through highschool, and even up until now. Each year I compete in a doubles badminton tournament, where each team is tasked to raise money for Shriners. This year my team, Cool Bod Gods, has the  goal to raise $2,000.  I know through all my friends and family this is a very attainable goal and I hope that you all can help me get to this number. 

Please help the organization that helps so many children, all free of charge to them and their families.
