Family, Friends and Well-wishers are invited to donate to the Ida Roberts Johansson Scholarship Fund established by the family in honor of Ida’s memory and in appreciation of her legacy.
The scholarship fund will support academic achievement, post- secondary Access and Excellence of girls and women in Liberia who best exemplify the virtues and characteristics of Ida. Potential beneficiaries will include students demonstrating interest in economics, the sciences, engineering and technology. The fund will address short-term financial support as well as transformational capacity building to improve the lives of girls and women in Liberia. The Fund will also continue Ida’s sponsorship and support to the Martial Arts for children in Liberia.
The goal is to raise $10,000. There is already a donor who will match $1000 received by March 2nd 2021. All contributions are welcome and appreciated.
