The Haute Spot is an iconic nail salon in Atlanta with 30 wonderful employees - I created this fund to help this small business that I and Atlanta love so much, so get behind me when I say "we want the Haute Spot to stay alive" and to help the employees and their families, who live pay check to pay check, survive purely off tips and unlike restaurants they cannot do deliveries of nails- so their lively hood has gone.
Let's really help the people who have become more than just our nail technician's but our friends and maybe psychiatrists for most. In practicing social distancing, I have realised how much I value and miss going to the salon that I once took for granted - how I miss making David show me 5 shades of pink and then going with his first choice, how I miss listening to the gossip, smiling and laughing, having a good old vent and watching all the women come together to share their beauty.
They have seen us through dates, break ups, marriages, divorces, pregnancies, miscarriages, house moves, job interviews, business start ups, through the good and the bad with a whole lot of drama - they have always been there lending an ear.
So, lets try and give back to the people who make us look and feel good ❤️ All proceeds go to the Haute Spot employees who do not qualify for unemployment so every little donation helps ❤️
