The future depends on what you do today

I will be working alongside an outreach ministry called Impact Africa in Johannesburg & Cape Town in South Africa. We will be doing home to home evangelism. Working w/the janulani kids programs going to squatter camps & working within the communities to help lead a VBS style program. I will encounter so many people w/ community outreaches & door to door ministry!


I know not everyone agrees/shares a relationship with Jesus. However the importance of spreading the gospel is very essential to my heart. Why? Because life is really hard.  Everyone deals with unimaginable pain in their own way. It’s so difficult while we’re blind & hurting & don’t know which way is up. Without passion & purpose in life, we lose sight of our unlimited potential to influence other lives. We are more sinful & flawed in ourselves than we ever dared to believe. Yet at the same time, we are more loved & accepted in Jesus Christ than we could’ve ever hoped. It’s so important as Christians, to be ambassadors for Christ, to leap outside our comfort zones & spread his love to all the nations. Nearly half the world is living in poverty & living on less than $1.25 a day. Not having access to not only basic necessities like food & clean water but being deprived from hope & spiritual guidance too. Some have a disadvantage in succeeding in life all because of their location. Close your eyes & try imagining being born into that for a minute.. Now imagine how different life would be if someone came to offer you love & support. You now have a visual of a future. Better yet, you have the first taste of hope. We can’t live without having hope. People living in the poorest of the poor, especially need to have this hope. They need to believe there’s more than just trying to survive.
