Raising funds for a defibrillator

Hello everyone,

Here at The Future Boxing Academy in Little Chesterton near Bicester, Oxfordshire, we are holding a fundraising event to allow us to take the club to the next stage and become affiliated with England Boxing. It is a fantastic opportunity for them to progress in a sport they are passionate about, but we need funds to do it.

With a target of £3,000, we need to purchase a defibrillator and renew safety equipment for the club, head guards, wraps, gloves and bags.

On Sunday 7th August at The Bicester Hotel Golf and Spa, our junior boxers will work hard to earn every donation by participating in a sponsored 'triathlon tag relay.' We aim to cover a distance of 20km in 2 hours using the open swimming lake, the obstacle course and the running track.

Since opening the gym in 2020, our juniors have participated in many competitive fights and skills bouts with great results! Boxing isn't just a physical activity; they develop in so many areas... they become more independent, learn self-discipline and respect. It builds their confidence and makes for a great team ethos!
