You would have to be living under a rock to not be aware of the #FREEBRITNEY movement. A huge thanks to Britney Spears’ devoted and loyal fans who have brought international attention to a conservatorship gone rogue.
The intention of the mural is to keep this justified movement front and center and in the public eye. Costa Mesa is famous for its murals and this will be another addition to this vibrant city.

We hope to cover the cost of this art piece and artist fee. However, every single cent that goes ABOVE the raise will be donated to ‘The Childhood Cancer Foundation of Southern California’ in honor of Britney Spears who has given millions over the years to similar ‘children with cancer foundations’.

- $500 - 5 gallons of a UV protectant @ $100 per gallon
- $250 - Large scale printing for lettering, reference, and color matching
- $330 - 2 five gallon containers of hot pink paint + primer @ $165 each
- $150 - Disposable items: roller pads, trays, tarps, blue painters tape, paint containers, rags, etc
- $700 - All the paint for her face and shading of the bricks including: art store acrylic paint, spray paint, mixing medium, slow drying medium, brushes.
- $270 Exterior Lights and installation.
- $4000 Discounted artist fee and time. (Normally $30 per square foot. The wall is 599 SQ ft and times $30 is $16,777)
