Hi, my name is Amanda. I have made this fundraiser on behalf of The Shelton family. Chris tradically lost his life on July 2nd, 2022. He leaves behind his wife Courtney (Stratton) Shelton as well as their 7 children. Christopher, Joshua, Ryan, Summer, Weston and Hadley. (ages ranging from 1 yr old to 19 yrs old) He was a Military Veteran. During his time in the army, he was apart of Operation Iraqi Freedom(OIF) and Operation Enduring Freedom (OEF). He was a Staff Sergeant (SSG) E-6 rank. Those who worked under his command has said he was someone they all admired and looked up to. He also received various awards for the time he served our country. He was a loving husband and father. He was also the sole provider for his family, which has left his wife with the most unimaginable thing she will ever experience. Grieving the loss of her husband, while being strong for their children. As well as worrying about getting him a proper burial and being about to support their children. We are taking up donations to help with any funeral expenses and other financial needs in the days to come. His family is completely devastated and lost without him. Anything is greatly appreciated.
