The Elvis Snipes Memorial Fund

Donation protected

A few days ago I was waiting at my Veterinarians office for Elvis's xray results. As I sat in the lobby, somewhat distraught over my dog, I overheard an exchange between the desk clerk and a young woman who had a severely injured pup. I dunno what exactly was wrong with her dog, but she did not have the money to pay. The bill was expected to be several hundred dollars and she had only about $30. until she get's paid in a day or two.
Thy had a couple of different websites she could go to in order to apply for credit, instant credit.
She had problems with the website but she finally did get approval over the phone for an amount less than the expected bill, after some discussion and approvals the Vet decided to extend her the credit she needed to take care of her dog on the spot.
My idea was to be like a "Secret Santa" and go to the vet office, talk to the manager, and give the manager a few hundred bucks to use at her discretion in the next few days or so. The next time that someone was in dire need to get their pet doctored, and they can just can not afford the bill, she could use some or all of my donation to go towards that persons Vet bill. No strings attached. The manager decides on the need the amount and who gets it.
Secret Santa can maybe save a deserving animal life for Christmas.
Then I thought, what if I could get a bunch of people to make small donations to The Elvis Snipes Memorial Fund?
Then I could do the Secret Santa on a somewhat larger scale.
Maybe make several donations like this to a few different local vet offices?

Maybe continue it on after Christmas?
