Il nuovo album: "THE DREAM OF BACH"
Maurizio Dente inizia lo studio della chitarra moderna all’età di tredici anni sotto la guida del Maestro Massimo Preti, dopo diversi anni avviene l’incontro con il grande chitarrista Roland Dyens, il quale lo convince a passare allo studio della chitarra classica, che Maurizio intraprenderà per sette anni sotto la guida di importanti docenti e concertisti della Penisola. Dopo aver studiato e lavorato tre anni tra Germania e Svizzera, nel 2012 rientra in Italia e parallelamente alla ripresa degli studi accademici nell’area degli studi umanistici, nel 2016 inizia una lunga ricerca di studio, approfondimento e riadattamento di celebri musiche sacre di J.S Bach. Un’idea che ha portato Maurizio nel 2019 in una tournée “sacra” in varie tappe europee, da Taormina in Sicilia fino a Muenster (Nord-Reno Westfalia) in Germania. A seguito del tour riceve una lettera di apprezzamento da parte Papa Francesco con un invito personale a partecipare all'udienza del mercoledì. Nel 2021 è risultato vincitore del premio di studio al merito della Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio di Carpi per la sua seconda laurea con lode in scienze delle religioni presso Roma Tre.
Durante lunghi anni di studio e ricerca, una serie di corali, cantate e brani di J.S Bach sono stati adattati e arrangiati per chitarra classica. Una parte di questo lungo repertorio è stato eseguito e presentato in alcune delle Basiliche e Cattedrali più belle ed importanti della Penisola. Ora pensiamo sia giunto il momento di dare compimento a questa ricerca con un vero e proprio album dedicato alla musica del grande maestro J.S Bach. L'album verrà registrato presso uno studio professionale e altamente qualificato (Peak Recording Studio di Simon Maccari) nel mese di settembre 2021, diventa anche tu sostenitore del progetto, il tuo nome comparirà nel disco e riceverai gratuitamente l'edizione speciale dell'album "The Dream of Bach". NEW ALBUM: "THE DREAM OF BACH"
Maurizio Dente begins the study of modern guitar at the age of thirteen under the guidance of Maestro Massimo Preti, after several years he meets the great guitarist Roland Dyens, who convinces him to move on to the study of classical guitar, which Maurizio he will undertake for seven years under the guidance of important teachers and concert performers from the Peninsula. After having studied and worked for three years between Germany and Switzerland, in 2012 he returned to Italy and parallel to the resumption of academic studies in the humanities area, in 2016 he began a long research study, deepening and re-adaptation of famous sacred music by JS Bach . An idea that led Maurizio in 2019 on a "sacred" tour in various European stages, from Taormina in Sicily to Muenster (North-Rhine Westphalia) in Germany. Following the tour, he receives a letter of appreciation from Pope Francis with a personal invitation to attend the Wednesday audience. In 2021 he was the winner of the study prize of merit of the Cassa di Risparmio di Carpi Foundation for his second degree cum laude in religious sciences at Roma Tre. During long years of study and research, a series of J.S Bach's choirs, cantatas and pieces have been adapted and arranged for classical guitar. A part of this long repertoire has been performed and presented in some of the most beautiful and important Basilicas and Cathedrals of the Peninsula. Now we think the time has come to fulfill this research with a real album dedicated to the music of the great master J.S Bach. The album will be recorded at a professional and highly qualified studio (Simon Maccari's Peak Recording Studio) in September 2021, in addition there will be collaborations with artists in the sector.
