The doctor saved Rusty’s leg, but..

The doctors saved Rusty's leg,  but he doesn't have health insurance.  

Rusty Jenkins is a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu gym owner, father, fitness enthusiast, and all around great guy.  In early August Rusty was rushed to the hospital with an infection that was so bad he was within 24 hours of losing his life!  He fought that battle and won only to find out that his leg (the source of the infection) would most likely have to be amputated (70% chance).  He underwent two surgeries, and by the grace of God, he did not lose his leg.  


We don’t actually know how much Rusty’s hospital bills are.  However, he was in the hospital for nearly 3 weeks, and he had two major surgeries (read six figures).   Even if you’ve only had to go to the emergency room lately, you probably have an idea of how massive those bills are.  Like many small business owners, Rusty does not have health insurance.   We are raising money to help him with those bills and the ongoing cost of medication and rehab.  We had to put a goal number on the campaign, but truly it could be much higher as I’m sure his bills are astronomical.   All the money will go directly to Rusty for his medical bills.
