The Distant South is a Melbourne-based Alt-Country/Americana band who write and play their own songs, drawn from personal experiences, penned by frontman - Nick Howells. From anxiety loss and depression to the heady heights of passion, joy and love, songs from The Distant South cover the whole gamut of the human experience.

The Distant South have recently completed recording their debut album at Rolling Stock recording Studios - all funded by the funds saved from performance fee's over the last 18 mths. Now we are about to master and print this beautiful album on good old-fashioned vinyl.....but to do this, we need your help. We need to raise $5000.00 to master and press this record - so we would love it if you could support us by pre-purchasing our record.
