The Dever family medical expenses

The Dever family can use your support. Please let me explain:
Mike had been battling serious heart problems for quite some time and his condition was worsening. But then, on December 17, 2017 he received the greatest gift ever – the Gift of Life, a new heart! Words cannot describe the gratitude and appreciation he and his family are now experiencing.
However, with that being said, the story doesn’t end there. The reality is Mike still has a long way to go. At present he is recuperating at Northwestern Hospital in Chicago and dealing with AFIB (a condition either caused by his body rejecting the new heart or fighting infection). As you can imagine this is taking an emotional toll on his family as well as a financial one. Just the day-to-day expenses for Lisa to go to the hospital to be with Mike are costly (gas money, food, $22.00/day for parking, etc.). Then there are those never ending medical bills associated with the surgery that continue to pile up. And to make matters worse both Mike & Lisa have been out of work during this whole ordeal. The extra strain this puts on the family is immense.
It’s for these reasons we are asking for your help. If you are in a position to make a donation of any amount it would be greatly appreciated and I can promise you they will pay it forward.
